Montessori Phonics Seminar

We will be conducting a Montessori Phonics Seminar for parents of Albany students. The details are as follows :

Our system of worksheets and syllabus will be used by a preschool in Kuala Lumpur.
They are attracted to our systematic worksheets that allows every child to develop according to their ability and capacity. The strength of our system are as follows :

1. Individualized

We recognize that each child is an individual and every child has different ability and pace of learning. Our worksheets allows every child to develop and grow according to their pace. If they are able to progress fast, they will be allowed to progress faster than their peers in the same class. Thus, we can find some children in Nursery who are doing the same worksheets as their friends in K1. We will not stop any child from growing to their full potential. We believe that a child who is ahead of their peers would find their studies in Primary 1 easy. This would create confidence in their learning ability and they would naturally do well in their Primary School education and throughout their studies.

2. Systematic

The worksheets are developed by consultants who have many years of childhood experience. The worksheet are systematic and has small stages of progress. Every child would find the worksheets easy to do with some monitoring. When they finish the whole series of worksheets, they would have a solid and firm foundation for Primary 1 education.

3. Advanced Learning

Every child is encouraged to do beyond their school level. For a child in Nursery who are expected to finish at Booklet 7, we would encourage them to complete up to booklet 8 or even 9. At K1 level, they would have a good foundation in their Mathematics as well as Reading skills.

Dear Parents of newly registered students,

There will be an Orientation Program on 19th December ( Saturday ) at 5.00pm. The objectives of the orientation are as follows :

1. To inform parents of the syllabus, programs as well as methodology used in our curriculum.
2. To introduce parents to the principal and the form teachers.
3. To brief parents on the contents of the Parents' Handbook.
4. To introduce to parents the facilities present in the centre.

We hope to meet all of you at the mentioned date and time. The Orientation will be held at our Woodlands branch : Blk 424, #01-340, Woodlands St 41.
